Apple iPad2 Will Be Revealed On March 2
According to Kara Swisher from All Things Digital, Apple is poised to announce the new iPad2 on March 2.
The current expectation is that the iPad 2 will be thinner than its predecessor and have enhanced display screens, as well as front-facing camera and Facetime video chat support. Some reports suggest it will be powered by one of Qualcomm’s multimode chips and will run on both GSM and CDMA-based networks around the world. The new iPad2 (or as some people say – iPad Too) will be lighter and equipped with a number of features.
Apple said it has sold nearly 15 million iPads, since it went on sale last spring, making the tablet a huge success for the company. Hopefully the next generation will compete with some of the new tablets already out – like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Motorola Xoom.
With just a week, the announcement will have all eyes on the new model as rumors about the iPad 2 have been floating around for some time.
