Opera 11.10 Beta Releases Tomorrow
Opera has announced on their blog that Opera 11.10 beta will be released tomorrow and will be available for download and test. The latest Opera beta release is the development of the snapshot that was announced back in mid February in which the core had been updated from 2.7.62 to 2.8.99. The update allowed for the Web Open Font Format to be implemented.
Other news of their development work includes a number of improvements to network compatibility. These improvements include: disabling Cookie2 by default, with an option to enable it again, sending more compatible Accept header on second request, disabling TLS 1.1 and 1.2 by default, making sure that redirects from http to https are labeled secure, and removing the use of master password for client certificates. They also added a preference to disable cross-network protection.
