The New Dell Streak 7

The New Dell Streak 7 will add to the multitude of other tablets being pushed out onto the consumer market. Although the Dell Streak 7 WiFi lacks a release date, you may pre-order the sleek tablet for $199.99 (with a 2 year contract) and have it ship out with Google’s Operating System: Android 2.2 (Froyo.) The 1 pound machine will carry a 2780mAh primary battery and come equipped with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and standard Bluetooth 2.1. The Video standard will allow you to view 3GP, MPEG4, and WMV files. On the tablet, you’ll have access to a 1.3MP fixed focus front camera and a 5MP Auto Focus w/ Flash rear camera.

The sleek 7″ inch device will run on 800 x 480 resolution and will feature Multi-touch input. For those not interested in a two year commitment, the 1 pound powerhouse gadget can be bought for $449.99.
If $449.99 seems a little pricey, just think about all the possibilities that can be had with Dell’s Stage software. Stage allows you to download movies, play games, and listen to your favorite songs through RadioTime’s streaming. Where ever you may be, you can use your tablet to document every little thing you do, turning the 7 inch device into your own photo journal, or just keeping it around to stay in touch via Facebook or Twitter. The possibilities are endless, really. Check out the videos below to learn more!
