Nokia E6-00 Leaked!
A prototype of the phone has found its way into the hands of the NokioTeca forums, giving us interesting details such as a VGA resolution touch screen paired with a physical keyboard, the use of a new version of Symbian^3 (which has been changed to fit the display), 3G with HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and stereo speakers. The screens are 640 x 480, which is a higher resolution that most Nokia products.
The phone includes a 8.0 megapixel camera and dual LED flash, and also an external speaker. The design of the phone is clean, and they keyboard looks delightful. Past phones in Nokia’s E series have received reviews lauding their design, however reviewers have a tendency to dislike Symbian. We’ll have to wait to see if this holds true for the E6-00.
Knowledge of the E6-00 has been around for a while, and rumors were around that Nokia would announce it last month at the Mobile World Congress, however instead they decided to announce their partnership with Microsoft. The leak of this phone shows us that Nokia is aware that there are still QWERTY keyboard lovers out there, members of a niche opposed to touch screen keyboards. Check out the phone in the video below. Are you a fan of physical keyboards? Personally, I love them, and would get the E6-00 in an instant.
