Introducing The Ultra-Slim MSI X370

MSI has launched a new notebook that was designed to serve your basic computing needs. The notebook, called MSI X370 is priced at $600 and features a commendable 1.6 GHz AMD E350 Dual-Core processor and houses Windows 7 Home Premium. The machine comes equipped with 4GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive running at 7200 RPM (rotations per minute). The 13.4-inch screen holds a native resolution of 1366 x 768 and you get your standard optical drive, WiFi and 802.11n wireless card.

Now for the graphics, the X370 comes packed with an ATI Radeon HD 6310 graphics card featuring 384MB of video RAM. For $600 you can enjoy Bluetooth, Mobile Broadband, and a 2 in 1 card reader. The full sized notebook weighs only 3.4 pounds with a 4-cell battery, and 3.8 pounds with an 8-cell. The MSI stands as a leader in its class for an ultra thin notebook and has a battery life of up to 10 hours.

To top things off, the X370 will ship with its own facial recognition software that will protect your data biometrically, using Easy Face that remembers passwords for MSN accounts, as well as login passwords for websites and systems. Although this seems like a great feature, it may not be so great in the long run if you’re at a friend’s house and want to check your e-mail but can’t seem to remember your password! All in all, this notebook is a beauty we recommend at least checking the video below.
