Motorola Droid X2 (Specs And Photos Leaked!)
If you haven’t heard about the Droid X2 yet, this will be one impressive phone. The device will carry a beautiful 4.3-inch touch screen with a better resolution than the previous Droid. The resolution will be set at 540 x 960 pixels which will make videos look a lot cleaner.
The device is expected o have a dual-core 1GHz Tegra processor from Nvidia but will have the same battery as the original Droid. The operating system will be Android 2.2 Froyo! Users will connect this device to their computer via USB 2.0. The phone features compatibility with DLNA streaming, an HDMI output, 720P movie capture as well as a crystal clear 8MP camera designed to snap pictures faster than the original device.
Motorola will ship the phone with a microSD card slot, but it is unsure of how much in-house storage the gadget will bring. In comparison to the previous version which carried an 854 x 480 touchscreen display, and used a Texas Instruments OMAP 3430 processor, the new Droid is definitely a noteworthy upgrade. It has been rumored that the X2 will also have the MOTOBLUR interface for Android rather than the Google experience skin. We are unsure how much this unit will cost retail but are expecting for a range between $550-650.
