Users can choose between an Intel Core i7-2630QM processor (6M Cache, 2.00 GHz) or the Intel Core i5-2410M processor (3M Cache, 2.30 GHz).
The machine comes with an Nvidia GeForce GT 540M 1GB DDR3 video card with Windows 7 Home Premium. The FX420 will have a 14-inch HD LED backlight display and feature a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The FX420 is powered by an Intel Core i5-2410M 2.3GHz processor and makes use of an AMD Radeon HD 6470M graphics card, which also has 1GB of DDR3 memory.
The 14-inch model is powered by the same Windows 7 Home Premium.
