The One And Only: HTC Sensation

The HTC Sensation, previously codenamed Pyramid has been unveiled in London. Personally, I think the “Sensation” is a much more fitting name for a beautiful phone than “pyramid.” The phone will be carrying Android 2.3, Gingerbread, host a beautiful 8MP camera autofocus with Flash, 1.2MP video-calling camera on the front, all displayed on a gorgeous 4.3-inch vibrant display. These specs were confirmed by Vodaphone:

• Dual core 1.2GHz processor
• HTC WatchTM delivers movies with no wait
Sleek, strong aluminum unibody design
• 4.3” qHD (540×960) super LCD display
• 8 megapixel autofocus camera with flash
• AndroidTM with HTC Sense
• Contoured screen with active lock screen
• Front-facing VGA camera
• DLNA and HDMI (MHL) video output
• 1520mAhLi-Ionbattery
• Dual microphones for noise suppression
• Digitalcompass,G-Sensor,Light sensor, GPS/AGPS

The HTC Sensation will be available throughout Europe mainly through Vodafone and is expected to reach Asian markets in the second quarter of this year. T-Mobile USA mentioned that they will be carrying a HSPA+ version of the phone, called the HTC Sensation 4G, available this summer for folks in the United States. I have to say, the phone is beautiful, and if you check out the short videos below, you will see why!
