The T-Mobile G2X Smartphone Arrives Tomorrow
For all who have been waiting, the highly anticipated T-Mobile G2X will be available tomorrow April 15th. The phone will be available nationwide in T-mobile stores for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. You can order the handset as a pre-order through LetsTalk.com for $149.99 when you sign a 2-year contract. The T-Mobile G2X is T-mobile’s spin of the LG Optimus 2X smartphone.
The T-Mobile G2X packs a punch with it’s 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display, shining bright a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The unit comes with a 1.3MP front-facing camera for all your important video calls, and an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash for those Kodak moments as well as 1080p HD video recording to capture those important moments when you left your videocamera behind. The virtual surround sound, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HDMI, MicroSD slot, make this phone a true gem.
You can expand the memory up to 32GB and the phone runs on a 1500 mAh Lithium Ion battery. This powerhouse will have full support for DLNA and will run on the HSPA+ network, also known as T-Mobile’s 4G. The high-end smartphone is sure to please with it’s 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 8GB ROM, 512MB RAM, running on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. I love Froyo, but I am hoping T-Mobile will allow G2X customers to upgrade to Android 2.3, Gingerbread later this year! Check out the videos for more info on the product!
