Samsung Announces All-Weather W200 Camcorder

Samsung has introduced a new pocket camcorder that is meant for all weather. While it’s not the most fashionable video camera out there, it’s not meant to be. The W200 is meant for rain or shine, wind and storm. The device can withstand shock, force, water, and dust. 2 meters for shock and 3 meters for water, to be specific. The device is coated with anti-drop material as well for those crazy times when you need footage, fast!

The device has a 2.3-inch QVGA LCD screen which is just large enough to see what’s going on. The 5 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor has an F2.2 lens, records full HD video at 30 frames per second, has HDMI support, a microSD card slot, and image stabilization. The device comes packed with a 1300mAh battery which delivers two hours of non-stop recording. The W200 is coming next month and will hit stores with a price tag of $159.

This is the perfect video camera for adventure enthusiasts all over. You’re not just buying a video camera, you’re buying lifelong memories that can be viewed at a moment’s notice. Think about that the next time you’re looking for a weather-proof video camera and I’ll guarantee you’ll be checking out this Samsung recorder.
