The New Toshiba Dynabook With Glasses-Free 3D Technology
If you’ve been craving something new in a laptop, look no more. The latest Dynabook has just been revealed, and it looks more promising than ever. The T851/D8CR is a full featurered notebook with a 15.6-inch Full HD laptop and offeres Super View 3D Glasses-Free technology with a face tracking system.
What does this all mean? The laptop can produce both 2D and 3D images simultaneously, without the need for goofy looking glasses. Yes, I am a little surprised too after all the complaints with the Nintendo 3DS but being that this device does not generate 3D view at all times, I think users will not have too hard of a time to adapt.
The laptop as I mentioned is full featured, meaning that it will carry an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5-2410M processor at 2.3Ghz and an Nvidia GT540M video card. The laptop will host 8GB of RAM and a 750GB hard drive to store all the data you’ve ever owned. The dynabook T851/D8CR will be sold in Japan at around 230,000 Yen or about $2,800 USD. Being amongst the first to offer a glasses-free 3D experience, I am curious to see if other manufacturers will follow suit and if this will become the norm in the next five years.
