iPhone 5 Due For The Christmas Rush
You’ve heard all the hype about the iPhone 5 (not pictured) arriving for the summer. Although we knew that Apple couldn’t make that deadline, we have better news to offer this time around. Apple will begin production of the new iPhone in July of this year with an expected launch data of September, according to Reuters’ inside information from the company.
So far, all we know is that the new iPhone will have a better processor and an 8MP rear-camera. We don’t have many other official details just yet. The companies that supply the major components of the new iPhone include Largan Precision Co. Ltd, Wintek Corp., and Foxconn Technology Co. Ltd. These companies will supply iPhone’s camera, touchscreen panels, and cases, respectively.
The iPhone 5 will definitely be ready for the Christmas rush in 2011. Around this time last year, the iPhone 4 generated 16 million sales, it will be interesting to see if this year will yield a comparable number.
