Dell Precision M6600 W/ Nvidia Quadro 4000M

The new Dell Precision M6600 is one notebook you don’t want to miss. The high-end computer will ship out on May 10th and is currently available for purchase in the United Kingdom. The notebook has a beautiful 17.3-inch screen, quad-core 2.5GHz i7, as much as 16GB of RAM, 512GB of solid-state storage and a 2GB Nvidia Quadro 4000M graphics processor. The laptop will feature a 1080 display multi-touch screen for those willing to pay a little extra for premium. How much will all this cost you? How does $8,000 sound? Well, it is a notebook after all you know.

The $2,600 setup will include a 2.5GHz quad core i5, 4GB of memory, 1600 x 900 resolution display, and a 320GB HDD @ 7200RPM. Graphics for that model will be AMD’s 2GB FirePro M8900. This is by no means a “deals” laptop. In fact, any laptop with such high specs will cost you top dollar.

I would get this powerful laptop if you travel a lot and know for fact you will be near a power outlet at all times, because with technology like this, I doubt the laptop will last longer than 25 minutes of real use. I’d be interested to see what the pricing on a similar spec model will be like in a year or two.
