RIM’s New BlackBerry Bold 9900 UNVEILED W/ Video!

Mobile maker, Research In Motion has just unwrapped its latest gadget in the BlackBerry phone lineup. The new device is called the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 and will be RIM’s thinnest BlackBerry phone yet. The new Bold finally has a touchscreen, thank god! Also to come, is a full QWERTY keyboard for all the texting you could possibly desire.

RIM also claims that the new QWERTY keyboard is its best to date. The BlackBerry will run on the new BlackBerry 7 OS and feature a 1.2GHz High Performance CPU, 768 RAM, 8GB of storage, touchscreen, 4G support, and Near-Fields Communications technology. The 4G phone will run on current GSM networks, support HSPA+, blazing fast 14Mbps downloads/6Mbps uploads.

Although there isn’t any support for LTE yet, the current setup should be plenty fast as it is. The phone will also host a 5MP camera with flash, image stabilization, and HD video recording. It looks like RIM has finally stepped it up a couple notches to ensure that it stays in the game with top competitors, Apple, Microsoft, and Google’s Android. I can’t wait to see how this new phone is received, and better yet, how it handles, in real world action. Check out the video for a closer look at this beauty.
