Lenovo Convertible W/ Facial Recognition

Lenovo has started selling a new hybrid notebook that looks quite different than the current convertibles on the market. The new convertible is called the Ideapad 06517HU and features a 10.1-inch screen with Lenovo NaturalTouch multi-technology that can swivel 180 degrees to convert from a netbook to a tablet, hence the name. The convertible has an extraordinarily long battery life, integrated high-speed Wi-Fi, ultra-slim design, and weighing just under three pounds. Look out folks, this one packs an Intel Atom N455 processor with Windows 7 Home Premium.

The 10.1-inch screen shines a beautiful LED backlight display over a 16:9 Widescreen aspect ratio. Lenovo’s NaturalTouch Panel allows for responsive fingertip touches while 250GB of storage lets users carry the files that matter most to them. Users of this new convertible will be able to video chat with the 1.3MP webcam and connect to external devices with the Integrated card reader and USB 2.0 ports.

Here are some of its High-Tech features:
* Active Protection System protects hard disk drive from shocks
* DirectShare – easily synchronize your files with another notebook without connecting to the internet
* Lenovo NaturalTouch – a range of touch-optimized multimedia applications
* Get online in seconds with Quick Start 2.0 ‘instant on’ function
