Acer Iconia Tab A100 3G Hitting Stores Soon
The new Acer 3G Iconia Tab A100 is almost here. Consumers can pre-order the device through UK’s Amazon for $399 pounds. The Iconia Tab A100 ships out with a 7-inch touchscreen display and has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The device comes loaded with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, a Tegra 250 A9 processor, and a 3G Module Huawei EM770W and connectivity via Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n connection.
Users will get to enjoy expansion with the Micro SD card reader, 512MB of DDR2 RAM annd fitted with an eMMC 8GB hard drive. The 3G is expected to ship on May 14th of this year. The device should be powerful to compete with most modern tablets, and is at a comparable price to Apple’s iPad.
I am curious what the next tablet Android will be like. I wonder if Google will try to keep Android a class, intuitive operating system or if they will try to improve Android too much to where it becomes more like a Windows device.
