Sony Shrinks Smartphone: Meet The Xperia Minis
Sony Ericsson is going out with a bang this year, focusing on its Xperia lineup. Not only will Sony be releasing the Arco, but also the Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro. Both devices will feature HD-video recording, as well as Reality display and will feature the Mobile Bravia engine. Each phone will carry a 1GHz cpu, more memory, and will essentially look as a miniature Xperia (a fitting name, isn’t it?). Sony’s not holding back, releasing the new Xperia Minis with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and a release day of Fall, 2011.
The mini and the mini pro will each feature a 3-inch scratch-resistant, multi-touch glass screen and will both allow a total of 16-apps to be displayed on the main screen. Fear not of viruses, because both phones come packed with McAfee antivirus software.
If you need to write a doc here and there, you’ll make good use of the pre-loaded Office Suite that comes on the phone. Both phones hold the record of being the world’s smallest Android smartphone with HD video recording. With over 150,000 Android apps, you won’t have to worry about software limitations. An ergonomic keyboard and smart functions allow users to keep in touch while minimizing discomfort for those long-winded e-mails. Out of the option of choosing the Arco or the Mini, which would you pick?
