HTC Working On 10″ Tablet -Leaked News
While we don’t have any major details on specs, pricing, or availability, we do know that mobile giant, HTC is working on a brand new ten inch tablet designed for AT&T’s new 4G LTE network set for later this year. As of now, AT&T uses HSPA+ to cover 4G speeds which is slower than LTE.
Normally I would rave about how great it would be to have a tablet with blazing fast Internet but if you know anything about AT&T, it is that they are expensive and provide limited data plans. In summary, you won’t be using this HTC tablet to watch continuous television or get to enjoy any downloading sprees. You will however, get to enjoy fast internet for moderate web browsing.
While this doesn’t give you a free pass to do whatever you want with your new machine, I am certain consumers will be happy with the new speeds. The tablet is likely to follow the trend of strange HTC names, and will be called Puccini. It will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb as the Android OS tablet standard but we don’t have any information on whether these new devices will ship out with Nvidia’s Tegra 3 processors. If they do come out with Tegra 3, expect a roaring tablet. We will keep you posted as we learn more about the leak!
