Team Fortress 2’s New Feature: Replay Editor
Team Fortress 2 players, listen up! There’s a new in-game feature called the Replay Update that allows gamers to record their best moments and later edit the footage. If you’re a pro sniper, tactical demo-man, or all-out backstabbing spy, make sure you record your awesome footage so you can share it with all your friends!
With the new Replay Editor, you can show people how many legitimate headshots you can earn at the start of a round and even make use of different camera angles, motion blur and antialiasing. Probably the coolest part of this new feature is that gamers will be able to upload their own videos to Youtube DIRECTLY within the TF2 interface.
Once gamers get their videos on youtube, they can earn special rewards based on the number of views your clip receives. If you get 1,000 views, you get a cool camera hat and views over 100,000 will earn TF2 gamers special taunts and other features. You can access the replay editor from the main menu of Team Fortress 2, as well as selecting temporary replay if you wish to watch or edit the clips. To open the editor just hit the spacebar once the replay loads, and enjoy editing! Please note that this feature is only available on the PC version. Take a look at the video below to see how the replay editor works, talk about a cinematic experience!
