Thrill 4G With Wikitude 3D Browser
It looks like the highly awaited HTC EVO 3D is going to be having some heavy competition this year. LG Electronics and Wikitude have just announced that the LG Optimus 3D (seen at the MWC) will be named the Thrill 4G for AT&T and will be coupled with Wikitude’s 3D browser. The Wikitude 3D browser allows for better interaction and engagement in real-time user environments.
The previous Wikitude browser only displayed overlapped objects while the 3D AR shows places, landmarks and objects in 3D making them much easier to distinguish. Users will also be able to discover details about their surroundings and easily access Wikipedia articles and Twitter information.
The phone itself will feature a dual-core, dual-channel, and dual-memory architecture and will offer glasses-free 3D viewing capabilities, as well as recording. Aside from those few vague details, we do not have any more information on specifics but you can bet that this will be one innovative phone. I wonder if the next generation phones will all support 3D viewing or if this is more of a fad that we are seeing with a few phones. Would you want all cellular devices to be eventually converted to 3D? Let us know what you think down below! Check out the video to see what the 4G Thrill looks like up close and personal!
