Meet Sharp’s Aquos 3D Phone
Sharp released a gorgeous looking phone earlier today, and I must say, it looks rather sharp! The new Android phone is called the Aquos Phone SH-12C (pictured top) and has a beautiful 4.2″ QHD (540 x 960 pixel) screen, offering a dual 8MP cameras for 3D photos and videos. The Android version is of course the most recent Gingerbread and the SH-12C comes loaded with HSDPA 14Mbps connectivity for super fast downloads. The phone also has a built-in GPS application, Bluetooth, and runs on a powerful 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor.
The device holds 512MB of RAM, 2GB or ROM, and will be available next Friday in Japan. As you can see, this new phone is quite an upgrade from previous Sharp Aquos phones (pictured below). This will be THE phone to purchase if you are interested in taking your 3D video shooting and photo shooting to the next level.
The hardware specs of the phone are impressive, and Android Gingerbread will run like butter on that 1.4GHz processor. We don’t have any information on pricing or availability but I expect this phone will be priced around $500-600 retail or $199 with a two year contract, just based on the specs alone. Check it out and let us know what you think!
