Fujitsu Lifebook TH Series W/ Oaktrail
Fujitsu has just launched the Lifebook TH series and it looks awesome! The Lifebook TH carries a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 capacitive touch display, powered with a brand new Oaktrail Z670 processor, identical to make of the upcoming tablets hitting the market. If you don’t know anything about processors, you have my permission to think “Oak trees and Trail mix.” Now, the design is simply beautiful, I’m a big fan of the wide black border around the display, and the way it slides out and tilts like that.
As you can see from the photos, the keyboard is a bit cramped and the spacebar looks shifted to the left. Owners of this device will have have to adjust to the spacebar before sending out any major term papers, or business proposals. The device features an unimpressive but adequate 1GB of RAM, a 120GB 4200 RPM hard drive, b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, and a battery that will last you about six hours.
There is also a HDMI port, two USB 2.0 ports, audio jacks, and a SD card reader. The device weighs just under 2.5 pounds and will cost consumers around $600. The convertible will ship out at the end of June. While the specs aren’t extremely impressive, the device does look cool and it features the latest bells and whistles of wireless connectivity. We will just have to wait and see how the market takes this one in!
