Toshiba Rolls Out Powerful Qosmio X770
Toshiba is about to release a new gaming notebook called the Qosmio X770, with a 3D version utilizing Nvidia’s 3D technology. The X770 has a 17.3-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display and features an Intel 2.0GHz Core i7 with a 2.9GHz Turbo Boost overclock. The gaming laptop also features a dual HDD and SSD model, and I’m guessing the SSD will serve as a primary.
The gaming laptop packs a total of 1.25 terabytes of storage and comes with a Blu-ray drive to enjoy your latest Blu-ray purchases. If you’re one of those types that has a bunch of intensive programs open at the same time, don’t worry because this laptop will have 8GB of DDR3 memory, clocked at 1333MHz.
Graphics-wise, this thing is a beast, featuring a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M 1.5GB of graphics. You’ll get your standard connectivity options with WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, gigabit ethernet, HDMI, VGA, one USB 3.0, and three USB 2.0 ports. The machine is about 7 pounds and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The laptop will also feature a 3D webcam and will run you just under $2,000. This looks like a solid gaming laptop if you’re looking to bring your gaming with you on trips and on the road. Check out the video below to learn about the previous model of Qosmio.
