Chinese Bus Stops Get Solar Power!

Japan is looking to pass a ruling that will have solar panels on all new buildings and houses by 2030. A recent report showed that 14 bus stops in China had solar panels installed on them. Each bus stop will feature five solar panels, with the power of delivering 800 watts of electricity on a sunny day. I am not well-versed in solar technology but hope that solar panels can be safely disposed of without harming the environment.

If solar panels are anything like batteries, we will be in some trouble if every single building, house, and structure on the planet has a solar panel system. What happens when the solar panels malfunction or need to be replaced? What if we had an amusement park built with solar panels and generators? Nah, that probably wouldn’t work. Can you imagine what the world would look like if we implemented solar technology in all aspects of life? Let us know some of your thoughts down below!

In the meanwhile, take a look at the solar panels on one of these Chinese bus stops and let us know what you think. If you see solar panels pop up in any other places, such as buses themselves, definitely let us know!
