Logitech Japan’s Minimalistic Drives

Logitech Japan had introduced its Master Series of Japan minimalistic-designed Mac and PC products a few years ago. The company yesterday announced a new Master Series of Japan external HDD that will be available in both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 and have storage capacities between 1 Terabyte and 3 Terabytes. The drives are scheduled to hit stores in about a week and will cost between 9,000 and 25,000 Yen ($110 – $305 USD). Hardware-wise, besides USB 3.0, there isn’t a whole lot to crave about these storage drives.

Consumers will pick these guys up mainly for their design and ‘fit’ with current computers and entertainment systems. If you’re located in Japan and reading this, we welcome you to pick one up and let us know what you think. I am currently working from a Logitech G15 keyboard and have owned a Logitech wireless mouse in the past. I’ve never had anything short of a pleasant experience from the company and am confident that these are solid pieces of hardware.
