Sprint’s Samsung SPH-D600- Leaked!
The Samsung SPH-D600 (no codename yet!) has been leaked on the web. It looks like this new Samsung will be hitting the Sprint network after getting over a few FCC obstacles just a month back. Judging from the specs, it seems like this will be more of an entry-level smartphone as it has a measly 320 x 480 pixel resolution.
We are not sure how many MP the front-facing camera has, but we know the back is 3.2MP. The device is fueled by Android’s latest Gingerbread mobile OS and eats its power from a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 processor. With Wi-Fi N connectivity, you can rest assured that you won’t be charged outrageous data prices while listening to the Pandora app on your home network.
A few more neat ‘tricks’ include Bluetooth 3.0 support and 4G WiMax capability. Based on the specs I would have to guess this phone to retail for $99 with a two-year contract, but you may see it for as much as $149. I can’t really recommend this phone as the new HTC leaks we have covered are much more impressive. However, if you are on a tight budget and are looking for a smartphone experience, I am sure there isn’t much harm in giving this a go!
