MSI G-Series Gets An Upgrade!
MSI is launching at full speed at Computex and has just introduced some new tweaks to their G-Series gaming notebooks. The new GT780, GT863, and GE620 will each feature Intel’s second generation Core i7 quad core processors. The GT780 and GT683 each feature 16GB of DDR3 memory and Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M graphics with 1.5GB of VRAM.
The laptops will come with accelerated dual solid-state drive architecture, offering users access to their most important files at three times the speed of traditional hard drives. Make no mistake that this is a gaming machine, and hence, it comes with a state-of-the-art gaming keyboard. The Control and Alt keys are slightly larger than your typical keyboard, making sure you don’t make any mistakes in an intense game battle.
The gorgeous backlit keys allow gamers to easily locate the WASD keys for general in-game movements, or even type out that college paper at 4AM. These gaming laptops are an all-around beauty, and I can bet they’ll start between $2,000 and $2,500 in price. Even without knowing the hardware specs, you can tell by the pictures that you’re buying into a high quality machine. Aside from having a full HD display, each notebook is packed with the latest USB 3.0 technology, ensuring blazing fast data transfers for those moments you don’t want to lose at a LAN party.
