Samsung Dart Is Coming At Full Speed
The Samsung Dart (pictured top), also known as the Samsung Galaxy Mini was recently spotted thanks to a T-Mobile product roadmap leak. It looks like consumers can expect this phone to hit shelves mid-June. The Samsung T499 is also speculated to arrive shortly after the Galaxy Mini.
The Samsung Dart /G Mini will feature a QVGA display with a weaker 600MHz processor that doesn’t quit blitz the same as the faster 1GHz mobile processors do.
It also appears to be running Android Froyo, and aside from the less-than-desirable specs, it should be a great entry level smartphone for those new to the Android operating system, or anyone new to smartphones in general. We believe that the unlocked version should be available around $200, with a 2 year contract model going for $29.99 – $49.99.
Let us know what you think about this low-budget smartphone and if it meets your needs? We don’t have any information on storage space or memory, but we assume it to be enough to handle one or two apps at the same time, making multi-tasking a bit more difficult than the average android on the market.
