Concept Zero-Emission Jet Achieving 3,125MPH

According to UberGizmo, The European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (EADS) has proposed a zero-emission Hypersonic Transportation aircraft that may turn flights into green-modes of transportation. The concept jet runs on a biofuel, seaweed, and will be able to achieve speeds above the atmoshpere, at 3,125 miles per hour.

The Zero Emission High Speed Transport (ZEHST) will make the current Concorde obsolete, and best of all, won’t harm our Earth anymore than all the cars we have on the road, at present.

Now what is the downside to this new green-type of jet? It may take as long as forty years to build the concept into something that actually works. While everything seems good on paper, it’s a whole ‘nother experience when you’re actually building a prototype and run into roadblocks along the way.

Another drawback of such a far-off prediction is the likelihood of encountering other technologies or materials that are better to use, for either speed or efficiency.

I’m waiting for the day where they can use ships that are powered by sea-water, now that would be awesome! Let us know some of your ideas on our Facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/techmento or follow us on Twitter @techmento.
