AT&T Leak: iPad 3 Will Feature Long Term Evolution
Okay, so I am sure I am not the only one who was annoyed when LulzSec & Co. hacked all the major gaming networks and companies. Well, finally there is a leak that sparked some curiosity. Now, don’t get me wrong here, I do not condone hacks, but there has been a huge leak from telecom giant AT&T and I had to post it.
Of the latest hacks to be leaked before LulzSec decided to “throw in the towel“, it appears that AT&T plans on rolling out out an iPad with LTE (the ultra fast Internet successor to 3G).
My best guess is that it will come next year on the Apple iPad 3, which was already guessed to support Long Term Evolution capabilities. Although the leak contains information for a possible March launch, previous rumors have dictated that the iPad 3 will arrive in the Fall.
At this point, we will have to see if other leaks rise to the surface before we can make too many assumptions and guesses. Check out the excerpt of the leak below, from the roadmap.
Pre-LTE scenarios. Testing will include iPad new activations HLS using the new rate plan, as well as a regression on netbooks and dongles. During validation E2E execution should ensure all functionality new and current is still functioning properly by validating account set up, provision, usage and notifications.
