Super Talent’s USB 3.0 Express RC8: A SSD In Disguise
Did you ever want to own a USB flash drive that could potentially achieve 270MB/s reads and 240MB/s writes? If you do, then it looks like Super Talent’s USB 3.0 Express RC8 could just be the device you’re looking for. The flash drive is powered by the SandForce SSD processor which brings several features to the flash drive that is typically found only on first tier SSD products.
It allows for the use of 8 channels of NAND memory, which pretty much makes this flash drive more of an SSD, rather than a typical USB flash drive that we have all come to know.
The SandForce SSD processor brings to the table DuraClass technology, with patented and patent pending DuraWrite which enhances both flash durability and data integrity. The Express RC8 makes this flash drive more reliable by the implementation of the DuraWrite technology, and more dependable than any flash drive you will probably have used in the past.
The casing is made up of aluminium and coming in at dimensions 1-inch wide, 4-inches long and 0.3-inches thick, the Super Talent USB 3.0 Express RC8 will be available at $110 for a 50GB version, with 25GB and 100GB versions also available.
