Apple Offering Refunds For Final Cut Pro X

Apple has recently launched the latest version of Final Cut Pro, dubbed Final Cut Pro X. Unfortunately, the new version doesn’t keep its users happy as there are many poor reviews of the new version.

The largest criticism received is that the “upgrade” isn’t much of an upgrade at all, offering little improvements over the previous version. Fortunately, Apple is listening to its customers and are now offering refunds to unhappy customers in an effort to keep Apple fanboys, loyal.

In an e-mail to a customer, Apple claims that it is a one-time exception, but I find it unlikely that Apple will issue only one refund to a customer, what about the millions of other video editors?

A sound business model would have Apple patch the latest software offering the updates that were originally planned for the software, but didn’t make the cut. See the e-mail below from Apple. Write us at facebook.com/techmento and let us know your thoughts on the new software!

Moving forward, I understand that you are not satisfied with the app “Final Cut Pro”. I can certainly appreciate you would like a refund, and I would be more than happy to help you out with this today. In five to seven business days, a credit of £179.99 should be posted to the credit card that appears on the receipt for that purchase.

Please note that this is a one time exception because the iTunes Terms and Conditions state that all sales are final.
