Keep Cool With This Megahahelm Heatsink!

If you’re looking to build a new computer, and you need to keep your new Intel chip cool, check out this awesome new CPU heatsink from Megahalems, dubbed the Black Series M.

Before you go crazy and hit the “Buy” button, make sure your computer case is large enough to accommodate the heatsink- a full tower is usually appropriate for these larger heatsinks.

If you’ve used the brand before, this is the third revision and measures at 130 x 74 x 158.7mm and features six nickel-plated heatpipes that measure out to be 6mm a piece.

The heatsink is compatible with all current CPU socket types, including AMD AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2; Intel LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, and LGA775.

You can purchase the aftermarket heatsink for about $100 US and it will start shipping on July 1st of this year. If you’re wondering why aftermarket heatsinks are important, they’re not extraordinarily important in the short-term but they do provide added lifespan to your processor in the long-run.

Aftermarket cpu coolers are also very important if you want to try overclocking your processor later down the road, as a new cooler ensures that your cpu does not overheat.

Finally, with processors costing well over $1,000 these days, you’ll want to be sure that you don’t end up frying your chip!
