Acer Integrates Social Media Button On New Laptops
Electronics manufacturer, Acer, has announced today that their new laptops will have one-touch keys that will give consumers a one-touch access to Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter. I don’t think it’s too hard to type the social media URL of your choice into a browser, but I think it’s more of an escape from boredom.
Have you ever been on your computer and were completely clueless of where to go next? Well, with a push of a button, you can be transported into any one of these entertainment hubs and happily waste a few more hours of your life while your homework stays piled on that corner of your desk.
With users now spending one out of every six minutes on social media, computer companies like Acer are continuously realizing the importance of staying connected with friends, as well as being up to date with what’s going on in people’s individual spheres.
The new laptops with the integrated keys will be members of the Gateway series and will feature the latest and greatest processors from Intel. USB 3.0 ports, and memory that will make you more efficient for your everyday computing tasks.
The lowest model starts at $620 and comes with AMD’s new A8 quad-core processor. Let us know what you think about the new social media buttons at www.facebook.com/techmento.
