Yahoo Mail Is Harvesting Your Emails
Yahoo e-mail users are outrageous about Yahoo’s new Terms and Conditions that now gives them the right to snoop in on people’s e-mails. What makes matters even worse is that this same rule applies to e-mails that are sent to Yahoo users.
Yahoo claims that the new changes are being implemented to better understand behavioral advertising and improve their search filters, but Yahoo users aren’t too pleased with the change in service.
With the new change under way, words, links, people and subjects are subject to being analyzed, thus causing privacy concerns among current Yahoo users. As a result of the change, many Yahoo users are considering to switch to other less intrusive e-mail services.
The new Terms and Conditions reads, “By using the Services, you consent to allow Yahoo!’s automated systems to scan and analyse all incoming and outgoing communications content sent and received from your account (such as Mail and Messenger content including instant messages and SMS messages),” …If you consent to this ATOS and communicate with non-Yahoo! users using the Services, you are responsible for notifying those users about this feature.”
