Leak: iPhone With 3D Capabilities

Rumors of an iPhone from Apple with 3D capabilities have been circulating around again, and it’s up to you to determine whether these rumors have any merit to them. The rumors first originated from a Chinese blog site that posted a number of iPhone images with dual cameras in the rear panel.

Dual cameras on the same side serve no purpose but to capture 3D images. This allows for video to be captured at different shutter speeds and allows for 3D playback to resume.

I’m not sure whether Steve Jobs is on the 3D boat just yet, as we haven’t seen any other Apple products sport the technology, but it does seem possible, that the iPhone 5 will come with a lot of bells and whistles.

After all, if it didn’t, who would want to upgrade? Just think if the iPhone 5 carried NFC technology, 3D capabilities, and a denser resolution, tech enthusiasts would have no choice BUT to upgrade.

Of course, people tend to get some serious laughs out of posting Apple rumors, and we have found a number to be incorrect. I guess we will just have to wait for something more substantial from the man himself, which means we will have to patiently wait.

Until we hear something official, tell us your thoughts at facebook.com/techmento or @techmento on our Twitter account. Have a great day folks!
