Google Maps live traffic signals now in Europe!
Google Maps live traffic signals are now in Europe! 13 privileged European countries within this week will experience the live traffic signals via Google maps through the Google maps websites as well as the Google Maps app that’s supplied on various phones.
It mainly uses the information that the traffic message channel service to several GPS units, the company mainly collects the data from various sources like the cameras, road plates and traffic lights operated by state road agencies.
The countries that will receive this feature are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland.
Using the Google maps live traffic signals, one can get to know about the traffic situation of major roads and highway around the country and plan accordingly which road to take.
The standard interface appears on Google maps, displaying the country with major city names tagged. However, there are now traffic lights which emerge next to each city which has traffic data enabled. Clicking on one of these traffic lights allows you to zoom in, and then using color coding you can see the traffic situation.
Google codes it like: Green = fast. Yellow = annoying. Red = awful. So you would always want to avoid the Red and Yellow too somewhat.
