ASUS About To Launch Ultra-Thin Notebooks
ASUS is launching two ultra-thin notebooks U46 and U56. These are very light weight and easy to carry. The target market for these notebooks is frequent travelers.
The most impressive part of these notebooks is their compact dimension. Both of them are about only 1 inch thick and the screen is only 5.5mm which is .21 inches. The U46SV is the industry’s most thinnest notebook every built.
The processor in both of these notebooks is Intel Core. High Graphics games can also be easily played without any additional 3D card because these notebooks have NVIDIA GeForce GT540M graphic processing unit with a 1GB of GDDR3 RAM.
The U46 has a 14 inch screen while the U56 has a 15 inch screen. The U46 has an ultra-thin bezel and have a thin bezel around the screen. The body is made of highly durable aluminum which adds more attractiveness to the looks of these notebooks.
The battery time of these notebooks is up to ten hours after the battery is fully charged. The USB 3.0 ports of these notebooks makes data transfer up to 10 times faster than the previously used USB 2.0 ports. The U56 also has a soft palm rest which helps you experience comfortable typing.
