Acer Shows Off Core-Powered Aspire W/ 8GB RAM

Acer has just dropped another notebook that is bound to get your attention. This puppy is called the Acer Aspire 5755 Notebook and is powered by Intel Sandy Bridge Core processor with a whopping 8GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB of onboard storage, a blu-ray player, Wifi and all the standard fixings.

If you were waiting to get your hands on a powerhouse laptop for this Fall semester, you’ve finally met your match. The 15.4″ LED display shows off a gorgeous 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

Consumers will enjoy an HD webcam, and will be able to type to all their friends on the cool chiclet keyboard. Now, we are not quite sure what operating system this puppy will run on, but we do know that it will be fast just judging by the specs alone.

In addition to the resonating Dolby sound, users will also enjoy the multi-gesture touchpad, and Acer’s own signal amplifying technology, as well as its media sharing platform.

You can expect this laptop to ship to UK markets first, just under 900 pounds. Unfortunately, given the high price, we feel you can find a better bargain with some other Asus notebooks, though I hear their customer service is a pain to deal with!
