Is Samsung Planning A 3D Phone?

3D technology offers you an ultimate experience of reality and is widely adopted by the entertainment industry because everyone wants to feel realness in virtual.

Following the footsteps of 3D LED TV vendors, many smartphone companies like HTC and LG are also developing handsets with 3D screens. Now, Samsung has also jumped into the pool.

Rumors state the arrival of a new Samsung GALAXY 3D(Glassess free) smartphone in late 2011. According to a Korean news site ET News, Samsung is currently working on a 3D smartphone and it might be launched by the end of 2011. This news site has a pretty good reputation with leaked info, as it was able to disclose all the major features of GALAXY S2 before Samsung even announced it, so these rumors sound credible.

The expected features of the device are a 1.2 GHZ processor(obviously dual-core), a 4.3″ super AMOLED touchscreen and an 8 MP camera with auto focus. It will run on ANDROID 2.2. It bears an HDMI port in case you want to share stuff.

As LG and HTC’s 3D smartphones are also expected in 4th quarter of 2011 so competition is tough for Samsung. HTC is also providing a 3D camera in its smartphone. From whatever data we have yet regarding this GALAXY phone, it looks pretty awesome with its features. So if you are looking forward to buying a 3D smartphone in near future, GALAXY 3D is another choice for you!
