Uncharted’s Script Getting Rewritten
PS3 is a huge gaming platform, having garnered much success since its release. The Sony team had been developing some really good games for PS3 lately which are enormously popular among the PS3 fans. Uncharted is one of them.
Uncharted is an award winning series of Action/Adventure/FPS genre games developed by a subsidiary of Sony, Naughty Dog.
To date, Naughty Dog has released two games of of the series and the third is on its way. But it seems as if there had been some change of plans. The script of the Upcoming Uncharted:Drake’s Deception was being written by Davi O.Russel and fans weren’t particularly very happy becasue O.Russel was moving the game in a totally new direction adding some extra layers of game play which fans didn’t like.
So now Sony has removed David from the position and the script writing is now in hands of Neil Burger, the writer of famous movies The Illusionist and Limitless. Neil has promised to completely re-write the script and fan boys seem pretty happy with this decision.
According CraveOnline Burger said:”I haven’t seen [Russell’s] screenplay on it. Mainly we’re beginning from scratch and going back to the videogame. Because there’s a lot of cool stuff, actually, from the videogame, if you know it…”. Looks like SOny are now planning to implant the elements from the Indiana Jones and Bourne series in to the game. Will that change really be good and will the 3rd game make the same name as last two did??We’ll see when the game comes out this November.
