Battlefield 3 Begins Alpha Testing Stage
While Battlefield is just a few months away (I’ve already pre-ordered my copy), it looks like Dice has already started its alpha testing schedule. They are even inviting gamers to come forth for those who want to get a taste of the latest game in the successful franchise.
Of course, they’re probably going to need one of those high end rigs that’ll set you back around two grand, but hey- you gotsta do what ya gotsta do. The Alpha testing will pave the way for Beta testing which you can expect in September, and hopefully, by the release date (October 28th), you can expect a game that is mostly bug-free.
Now, the Alpha testing phase is invite only, but rest assured that the beta testing will be much larger in number. After seeing all the trailers, I can’t tell you how excited I am to get my hands on this one.
The last game that blew my mind was Crysis 2, which was released earlier this year, but I have been a Battlefield fan for a large number of years (starting from Battlefield: 1942 all the way through Bad Company 2). I am excited to see how this game will add to the previous Battlefield 2 game, which I thought was a bit lacking. Check out the Fault Line trailer down below if you haven’t seen it already!
