Take Panaromic Photos With Your iPhone

The panoramic feature is the widest employed feature in imaging devices. If you are unfamiliar with panoramic, it is a type of photography which allows you to join a series of pictures creating a panorama like 3D view.

Up until now, Panoramic photography was limited to only digital cameras, which came equipped with such lenses that allowed them to capture panoramic stills.

Smartphones lacked this technology as the lens of the smartphone camera is usually not very sophisticated. However, this feature is no longer exclusive to digital cameras. Pixeet has found a solution to this problem. These guys have managed to create a fish eye lens and an application which would do this job much like a camera. The Pixeet 360 is a patented case which comes with a 180 degree fish eye lens that is mountable on the case in front of the iPhone camera.

The lens is made with the highest grade of optical glass ensuring true colors and high resolution images. The app helps users in photo capturing and then assembles the photos to create a panorama view. However, only 4 pictures can be shot for creating a panoramic view. The case is currently available for iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4.

We don’t know whether they would develop a case for the iPhone 5 or not which is yet to come. This cool case, along with the lens, costs only 32 euros. The app can be downloaded from the iTunes store. So if you are looking to add some fun to your iPhone photography, The Pixeet 360 will surely help you a lot. See the video below to learn more.
