Two New WP7 HTC Leaks: Ignite & Prime
Well what do you know, could this be the end of Android or just a bump in the usual routine? Looks like HTC is working hard at some cool new Windows Phone 7 devices, that are sure to make their fan boys sweat.
The two new phones are the HTC Ignite and the HTC Prime, and both were leaked on some Dutch website. According to the information provided, the HTC Prime has a gorgeous slide-out keyboard, a 3.7″ touchscreen, a modest 512MB of RAM, and a 5MP camera with LED flash.
Okay, we know, that’s not a whole lot to go on- but it definitely covers the basics in the new device. To met, it looks kind of like an HTC G2.
While we are not sure about the resolution on the HTC Prime, the HTC Ignite will be rocking a WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resolution on its 3.7″ screen, carry the same amount of RAM, and will be paired with an 800MHz processor (as will the Prime).
Prices you can expect for these phones should linger around $500 without a contract, or $200 with a two year agreement. Again, the phones aren’t as mind blowing as some other HTC leaks we’ve covered, and to add to that statement, the 5MP camera seems to be dying out in mobile.
Hopefully, these gadgets will appear on the market sometime this year, because I feel as though they will be obsolete (spec wise, at least) by next year.
