A No-Contract Dream For $200: Nokia 500
It looks like we may have an introductory touch screen smartphone before the famous Sea Ray debuts. The Nokia N500, a Symbian Anna powered phone, runs on a 1GHz processor (single-core), and while that may not seem like much, Symbian has been known to not use too many computing resources.
The device itself rocks a 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen with a modest 640 x 360 pixel resolution and a 5MP rear-facing camera to snap photos on the go.
It ships with 2GB of internal storage and has a microSD card slot for further expansion. Connectivity ports include pentaband WCMDA/UMTS- allowing users to use the device both on T-Mobile and AT&T networks, and it supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.
The Nokia N500 will be priced at an affordable $216 US or 150 pounds pre-taxed. Reach out to us on facebook.com/techmento or send us a tweet @techmento and let us know if this is the Nokia for you.
