Vivitar’s HD Waterproof Video Camera -$60
If you were hoping to bring your cheap disposable camera for the late summer vacation, you may want to reconsider- especially if you wanted to take some videos under water.
But before you get all carried away with the waterproof concept, note that the device wasn’t meant to be submerged in depths greater than ten feet, so don’t get too excited, cowboy.
The gadget is equipped with a 4x Digital Zoom, a vibrant 2.0″ LCD on its back and records in native AVI format. All videos can be stored on up to 32GB of space on your standard SD card. Just for reference, 1GB of storage, takes about 6 minutes of 720p video, so with 32GB, you are looking at about 3 hours of video.
Movies, of course, can also be captured in HD at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels or QVGA at 320 x 240 pixels. You can get the affordable. I highly recommend looking around online, as you can most definitely scoop up this gadget for about $60, which makes it a complete steal and of those valuables that can get lost in the ocean without severing your financial savings.
