Google Not Paying Its Employees??
iOS and Android are the two largest mobile operating systems today, and while Apple has paid over $2.5 billion dollars to its developers, we wonder what exactly is happening over at Google’s end.
According to a report by The Register, Android developers receipts aren’t matching the actual number that they are selling and are only getting paid for half of their applications.
While some developers have realized the discrepancy between the actual amount sold and the amount earned, many developers still have no idea that they are not being fairly compensated.
While this issue has arisen before, Google has still not yet fully addressed the issue, and we are starting to wonder whether there is something in the Fine Print that was missed.
The developers further claim that their concerns are being ignored by Google and some are even contemplating taking legal action against Google over the matter.
Now, if we were talking about a really old company, maybe one that was originally paper-based, I guess I could understand a mix up in the files, or maybe some lost documents. But we are talking about a ten year old startup that begun digitally, so it kinda throws all potential excuses out the window. Send us a tweet @techmento and let us know what you think!
