Motorola Launching 3.5 Inch Android Smartphone

Motorola Mobility announced to launch it’s latest XT531 Android smartphone which they claim is a budget-friendly smartphone. The smartphone will be released in China.

The XT531 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread featuring a 800MHz chipset and 512 onboard memory. It has a 5MP camera with built in flash and auto focus. It also has a front VGA camera for video calls and online chat.

XT531 has a 3.5 inch HVGA display with multi-touch feature. The User Interface of this phone is pretty impressive and allows users to switch to different modes very easily.

While many smartphones do not support memory card above 16GB and start causing trouble, this smartphone can support up to 32GB of expandable memory using the MicroSD slot, and would operate just normally without causing any trouble.

It is powered by a 1540mAh battery which allows an 8 hours of talk time and 28 days of standby time in 3G mode. It also has Wi-Fi b/g/n and full access to Google applications such as Google Maps, Google Talk, Browsing, etc.

This phone is expected to be released in China this month and will be available worldwide in the coming Fall.
