LG To Make It’s Own-In-House Processor

LG clearly is not one of the most wanted Android manufacturers in the United States or even across the globe. The problem is not with their software theme but their hardware is quite tasteless and lifeless. Samsung, Nokia, HTC and Motorola have far better hardware than the LG.

Apparently LG has realized that and soon going to be unique among the mobile phones manufacturers. They have decided to come up with their own-in-house ARM processor. Based on few earlier reports, LG will soon start using their own processor know as “L9”.

The L9 is said to be of the same type as quad-core. It’s believed to be based on the Cortex A9 architecture rather than the more powerful and way more advance Cortex A15 architecture. The processor currently is being designed according to the chairman Koo Bon-moo.

Their new device will probably feature various LG-made parts from LG Chem, LG Innotek and LG Display. LG Display makes brilliant HD display that are already being used in the Optimus 4x HD smartphone. The new device will for the first time feature LG’s high-end displays and a 10MP-plus shooter for HD photos and videos.
