Quma, A 3D Motion-Capturing Technology…

Japan certainly is a leading automotives and robots maker, and recently Japan-based SoftEther.com provided another breakthrough in 3D motion-capturing technology. A striking 3D motion-capture figure has been developed by Japan-based SoftEther.

It can create computer graphics and animations in 3D. A (Quma) dummy’s fitted with sets of joint through its body, which is outfitted with sensors which can easily be moved by user. The sensor tracks the movement and a 3D figure on your computer screen does the same movement.

Tata Creates $720 House With 1 Week Build Time

The world’s cheapest car is currently manufactured by the Tata Group, and costs about $2,000. While we were amazed when we heard that a brand new car was $2,000, you’ll be even more surprised when you hear this.

Tata has just created a flatpack wooden house that’s built in one week and costs a total of $720. Think of it as a very large IKEA project. Now, before you call BS on this story, do note that the house is only ‘good’ for 20 years.

Nokia’s New 700 Zeta!

An iPad 2 For $69, Or A Huge Blunder?

The Sears Department store chain is facing the tide after it erroneously updated an iPad2, priced at $69 only! It seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime deal since the original price of iPad2 used to be around $500. This slip-up engrossed massive traffic and definitely sounded like a hallucination to the customers when they found that out on sears.com.

Windows 8 To Support Xbox 360 Games ?

A number of sites are reporting that the Xbox 360 games could be playable on the next Windows operating system, Windows 8. While not yet confirmed, it could have many implications if true. Apparently the only thing PC users will have to do is have Windows 8 and pop the Xbox 360 game into their DVD drive and that is it.

However, your PC will still need to be powerful enough to run the games. In addition, if you want to play these games online, PC players will have to buy access into an Xbox Live feature like Xbox 360 users have to.

Windows 8 Build 8042 Compiled

Windows 8 is still being worked on, getting some major kinks ironed out in hopes of a smooth April 2012 launch, as the company had earlier said. However, a new Milestone 3 Build had just been completed and was compiled on July 7th.

The most recent build was unsuccessful in fixing all the broken features but expects a refresh by the next build. The most recent build was focused on perfecting the new user interface and ensuring its functionality.

iPhone 5 Leaked In China ?

With evidence mounting that the iPhone 5 is coming in the fall, here is some more fuel for the fire.

A new Chinese case design has been found on Alibaba.com, which is a business-to-business trading site for Chinese manufacturers and suppliers, claiming to be for the iPhone 5G. It is worth taking a look at as Chinese manufacturers often get design specs before the official launch.
